Start and understand the free trial
Review the displayed trial eligibility, product and remaining time.
Check the trial shown for your account
Eligible new accounts automatically receive a two-day Bundle trial when account creation finishes; no card is needed. Open Billing and wait for the account summary and plan catalog to see its product and expiration. If your account has no existing trial record, Billing may instead offer a manual trial. The server determines whether a trial is available for the current account. Do not assume a trial exists because an older screenshot shows one, or that an account with no active paid subscription must still be eligible. The current action and status tell you whether you can begin, already have a trial, have spent it or need another available subscription action.
Choose the product you intend to evaluate
If Billing offers a manual trial, compare Options, Futures and Bundle before starting it. An existing signup Bundle trial is already running and does not need another Start action. Options and Futures support different terminal tool families, while Bundle combines them. Choose a product that lets you evaluate the workflow you actually need, such as option-flow analysis or futures depth and footprints. An API subscription is a separate product; creating an API key does not turn a terminal trial into API access. Provider coverage and permissions also remain relevant during a trial, so an eligible tool can still show missing history or unavailable live inputs.
Start once and confirm the saved result
For a manual offer, choose the available trial action on the intended plan and wait for its completed response. If your signup trial is already active, read its saved expiration instead. The application refreshes billing state after a successful start or an eligibility change. Inspect the active product and remaining time in Billing or the trial pill. A button saying Working is not a second offer to start another trial, and repeated clicks do not extend its end. If the account became ineligible while the page was open, reload its current state rather than continuing to submit the old card action.
- Open Billing and confirm an eligible trial action is actually offered.
- Choose the intended terminal product and start its trial once.
- Check the saved product and actual expiration or remaining-time display.
Understand the trial's time boundary
Use the actual expiration returned for your account. The remaining-time display is a view of that saved deadline rather than a timer that pauses when you close the browser. Leaving the application, changing time zones or opening a new device does not create additional trial time. If the trial has ended, an old chart can still retain a dated frame while current access is restricted. Check Billing before interpreting that retained frame as continuing entitlement. An expired trial also does not prove that a subscription charge was automatically made.
Know what no card means in this flow
When the in-app trial is explicitly presented as no card needed, starting that offer does not require entering payment details in the trial action. Choosing a later paid subscription is a separate decision and can open a hosted payment flow with its own terms. Read that flow before completing it. Do not confuse a saved trial state, a checkout session, a completed payment and a renewed subscription: each is a different result. Invoice records and the current Billing summary are more reliable evidence of billing outcomes than a trial pill alone.
Handle used, denied and preview states
Trial eligibility is enforced on the server. A spent or denied trial is not restarted by changing browsers, deleting a developer key or selecting a different billing card. Preview accounts cannot start real trials or checkout because their identity is an explicit development fixture. A provider-unavailable or trial-unavailable response should be read according to its exact message; it is not proof of a charge or a permanent loss of saved resources. If the visible state changed during an action, refresh Billing and use the newly offered action rather than the stale one.
Plan the end and diagnose access issues
If you want continued access, compare the paid subscription options before the displayed trial end and review the actual provider terms. If access ends unexpectedly early, record the account email, trial product, displayed expiration, current time with time zone and affected tool's exact access message. Distinguish an entitlement denial from missing provider data or incomplete retained history. Support can investigate the saved state using those details without receiving passwords, payment credentials or private session tokens. A feature being available during a trial does not establish that every live provider workflow has been verified.
